Large Chilled Water Pumping Package

The Background

HYFAB worked with the engineer to design a package that would provide a complete chilled water pumping solution.  Our customer left the design details to HYFAB, the hydronics experts.

The Solution

• This chilled water pumping package was designed for a major biopharmaceutical manufacturer.
• Three 125 HP split case pumps were utilized and mounted on an inertia base for vibration isolation.  The 16-inch package headers provide an idea of the scale of this pumping skid.
• Everything necessary for the closed loop chilled water distribution system was included on the package: pumps, air separator, expansion tank, chemical feeder, side stream filter, variable frequency drives, a power distribution panel, and all mechanical and electrical
